Masiela and Maria

Masiela was an American actor, author and humanitarian, born in Tirana Albania. Masiela is the sole child of Max Lusha and Daniela Lusha. At the age of seven Lusha relocated to Michigan and started a career in modeling. During performing in shows and modeling a Hollywood talent agent came across her. Lusha's debut poetry collection The Inner Thoughts was published in Los Angeles while she was performing. Her first acting gig was in 2000 when she was the role of Lisa in the movie Father's Love. In her debut television appearance she played Lizzie McGuire in an episode. From 2002 to 2007 Lusha got the lead role in the role of Carmen Lopez in the hit TV sitcom George Lopez. Maria brink......................Maria Brink was born on December 18 1977 into a troubled family in New York. Her father had abandoned the family at an extremely young age. At age fourteen, Brink became pregnant and was forced to quit high school. In order to provide for her family, Brink relocated with her child Davion following the birth of her son. In 1995 Brink was a part of her band Pulse that was formed in Albany New York. They played mostly local gigs for Coal Chamber, Sevendust and different bands. The band split later. At the age of 25, she moved from California and moved to Los Angeles looking for her biggest break. Brink was employed in retail stores, singing in bars and caf s as she searched for a new musical group. Within two years, she was introduced to Chris Howorth (now a band members) during an audition. Howorth rejected her because she's a woman. He quickly changed his opinion and apologized after listening to her sing. Together with drummer Jeff Fabb, they created the Dying Stars. Blake Bunzel (guitarist) and Josh Newell (bassist) joined the group in the following years. In This Moment became the new name for the band after two live shows.
