Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is the Mexican American sportscaster. She is the host of SportsNation and is an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She joined ESPN in the year 2016. The child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been since her age of nine. Her ability in this area has helped her get her first position at Univision, Miami. She could work with national producers on programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. The CBS station of St. Petersburg hired her after this as a sports reporter. She moved into Rio Grande Valley in 2009 as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. In 2009, she moved to Rio Grande Valley, Texas in which she was a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Also, she was a substitute for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallasthe affiliate of Univision Dallas, and she has more responsibility. She reported on the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. Aside from this, she also hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. Then, she became the sports host on the morning show on Despierta America Deportes. In similar roles for the network's magazine show Primer Impacto and for UniMas Network's Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins' grandparents were born in Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1984 in Mexico City. She has a sister. In 1992, the family relocated to Miami after moving from Mexico into the US. Within a brief time her father divorced from her mother and she then remarried in 1995 a naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in the year 2006. In the summer of 2006, she spent a week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working there. Antonietta had just graduated high school, however she knew her plans for what she would be doing. She discovered that she was a fan of the campus and that the school provided the degree she was looking for. She finished school and enrolled at the university with a media studies major. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also the manager of WRMU's 91.1FM station for which she worked for many years, became a friend. His passion for journalism and confidence in her own abilities inspired her. She, in turn attempted to live up to his expectations and never let him down.
